What is Randy's List?
Randy's List is a unique database designed to inform service industry professionals of potential problems with the occasional difficult customer. We use the term "occasional" because we believe that most customers don't fall into this category, but the ones that do can be devastating to a company's bottom line. We collect reliable information on both good and bad customers from members all over the country and put it all together in an easy to search database.
What categories are included in the reports?
Customers are rated on how they pay, their ability or inability to be satisfied and the amount of their input into the project (micro-managers).
As a consumer, how do I handle a false report?
If you see a report that you believe to be false or incorrect, simply click on the link "See Member Details" to find information about the member that wrote the rating. If the member actually performed a service for you, you will need to contact them to resolve any issues with their report. If the member never performed any work for you, let us know immediately. We will request proof from the service provider that work was done on, or about the date of the report. If they fail to provide proof within 72 hours, the report will be deleted.
Will I be able to see reports on my previous addresses?
When you sign up, you will be asked to enter up to 5 previous addresses. You will receive emails when a report is entered for your current, and any previous addresses you enter. If you move, you will need to update your account information. This can be done from the consumer dashboard after you login.
How will I benefit from becoming a Randy's List member?
You will receive automatic emails every time a report is filed, good or bad, and will be able to protect your reputation against false or misleading reports.
How much does it cost to be a member?
The annual membership fee for consumers is $2.95 per year. We currently have a limited time promotion for consumer "Lifetime" charter memberships for $2.95 for, well…. A Lifetime! That's right, never pay again, and receive emails on new reports for the rest of your life! This promotion won't last long so don't miss out!
If I sign up as a consumer lifetime Charter member will I ever be charged again?
No. You will never be charged again to be a member.
